WHEN YOU PLAY BINGO, ONTARIO WINS!
When you play Ontario wins. That is certainly true for the many bingo players who visit Charitable Bingo & Gaming (cGaming) centres.
We are proud to share that since 2005, direct proceeds to Ontario charities and not-for-profit organizations from cGaming has now surpassed $500 million*. This important source of funding for charities enables local programs and services that include:
Health & Social Services – from Hospitals to Mental Health Programs
Community Support – like Foodbanks and Service Clubs
Senior Services – from Meal Services to Home Care Support
Arts & Culture – funding for Theatre, Music, Visual Arts, and Cultural Heritage
Youth Sports – programs for Children Under 18
Education – including After School Programs and Daycare
Religious Groups – Support for Places of Worship and Religious Activities
This is a major milestone for the program that is delivered through a partnership between Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), Ontario Charitable Gaming Association (OCGA), Commercial Gaming Association of Ontario (CGAO), private sector operators, and 28 municipalities.
Thank you to the many Ontarians that have contributed to this milestone: our valued players, our cGaming centre operators and their dedicated teams, participating charities and their 30,000 dedicated volunteers, suppliers, AGCO, OLGers, and of course, our partners the OCGA and CGAO.
There are 37 cGaming centres across Ontario that provide direct funding to over 2,400 participating charities with a broader benefit to more than 5,000 charities and not for profit groups in communities across Ontario. Come join us for some bingo fun and help give back to your community!
*From September 2005 to February 2024, OLG Charitable Bingo & Gaming Centres have raised over $500 million for charity.
