Lottery Accounts
A Lottery Account is a new account type that allows you to quickly self-attest your eligibility (including your age) to digitally purchase lottery tickets on OLG.ca and to redeem your winnings in-store.
Here’s what you’ll need to create a Lottery Account:
- Email address
- Date of birth
- First and last name
- Address
- Self-attestation
To create a Lottery Account:
- Select “Buy Tickets” to add a lottery ticket to your cart on OLG.ca or via the OLG App and follow the prompts
- Enter your email address, name, address and date of birth.
- Go to checkout and enter your card information.
- Purchase your ticket.
- Verify your email.
Once your email is verified, you can log back in and view successful ticket purchases at any time in your Ticket History.
If you attempt to play Casino, Sports or Group Play, make deposits or withdrawals, or add winnings to your e-wallet, you will be notified that your account needs verification.
To verify your account and get full access to OLG.ca, you’ll be redirected to fill in the required information.
If you have a Lottery Account, you can purchase your lottery tickets using Direct Pay.
We accept Debit Cards from Visa and Mastercard, and Credit cards from Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept Apple Pay.
You can redeem your winnings at one of our retail locations or online by adding them to your e-wallet.
To redeem online, you’ll need to go through additional verification to have a fully verified account. Once verified, you’ll have the option to add your winnings to your e-wallet.
To redeem in-store, simply scan the QR code of your ticket at one of our retail locations. Find a retail location here.
Please note retailers may not have enough cash to pay your winnings and winnings over $1,000 must be redeemed online.
Verified Lottery Players are players that have verified their identity. Lottery Account Players can submit to a third-party identity-check to upgrade to a fully verified account. Once the upgrade is successful, Verified Lottery Players have full access to their account with all the capabilities including e-wallet, Casino, Group Play, PROLINE+, etc.

For prizes of $1,000 or more, you must redeem your winnings through your e-wallet. To do this, you’ll need to verify your account.
