The LIGHTNING LOTTO jackpot starts at $125,000 and grows with each play purchased until it is won. If the jackpot is won at any point during the day, it instantly resets to the base level of $125,000 and begins to grow again until it is won. If the jackpot is not won before sales close, it carries over to the next day and continues to grow.
