HOW TO PLAY

How to play CROSSWORD TRIPLER

1. Scratch the eighteen (18) YOUR LETTERS one at a time. For each of YOUR LETTERS revealed, scratch only that same letter each time it is found in PUZZLE 1, in PUZZLE 2 or in both PUZZLES, including the six (6) Bonus Words.ds).  

2. Continue until all YOUR LETTERS and corresponding letters in both PUZZLES, including the Bonus Words, are revealed.

3. Reveal at least four (4) complete words in the PUZZLES, win the corresponding prize as per the LEGEND. The six (6) Bonus Words are not included in the word count for the prizes found in the LEGEND.

4. Reveal one (1) of the Bonus Words, win the corresponding prize for that word. The six (6) Bonus Words each have a defined prize amount attached to them as set out in the prize adjacent to each Bonus Word. The colour of the letters within the Bonus Words will be white once they are revealed.

TRIPLER: Scratch the TRIPLER area entirely. If you uncover 3X, and you have won a prize in the PUZZLES as per the LEGEND, you win triple the prize won in the PUZZLES.

You can win only one (1) prize per ticket.

Tripler wins are applicable to the $5, $15 and $20 prize categories only, and exclude all Bonus Word prizes.

CROSSWORD BLACK PUZZLE AND RED PUZZLE DETAILS

  1. A “word” must contain at least three (3) letters, with the exception of the six (6) Bonus Words, which must contain a minimum of four (4) letters. 

  2. A “word” cannot be formed from right to left, from bottom to top or diagonally in any direction.

  3. Letters combined to form a complete “word” either completely horizontally or completely vertically in the same Crossword puzzle must:

    1. appear in an unbroken horizontal or unbroken vertical sequence of letters;

    2. only use letters within the Crossword puzzle that are matched with YOUR LETTERS; and

    3. use every lettered square between two (2) black squares, or one (1) black space and the edge of the Crossword puzzle, in an unbroken horizontal or unbroken vertical sequence.
