MEGADICE LOTTO LOTTERY GAME CONDITIONS
These Game Conditions apply, until amended or revised, to the MEGADICE LOTTO lottery game.
1.0 Rules
1.1 MEGADICE LOTTO is governed by the Rules Respecting Lottery Games of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (the “Corporation”) which are available upon request and which include limitations of liability.
1.2 Words used in the MEGADICE LOTTO Game Conditions which are used in the Rules Respecting Lottery Games shall have the same meaning as those used in the Rules Respecting Lottery Games.
2.0 Game Participation
2.1 In MEGADICE LOTTO:
“dice” means a standard six-sided cube where each side has a different number of spots from one to six. The term dice is used both in the plural and the singular of die.
- “Instant Winning Roll” means seven dice as set out in paragraph 4.1 (a).
- “Lotto Numbers” means, for each play, six numbers from the class of 39 consecutive numbers from one to 39.
- “Roll” means, for each play, seven dice, each showing one side of the dice with a number of spot(s), where the number of spot(s) on the dice are sorted and displayed from the lowest (one) to the highest (six) number of spots.
- “winning numbers” means the six numbers drawn for the draw component of the game, as set out in paragraph 3.0.
2.2 A player may participate by Quick Pick play only.
2.3 The MEGADICE LOTTO game play “selection” consists of:
- a Roll for the instant component of the game, and
- Lotto Numbers for the draw component of the game.
2.4 “winning ticket” for the instant component of the game means a ticket that bears a Roll that matches the Instant Winning Roll as set out in paragraph 4.1 (a) or, for the draw component of the game, a ticket that matches the winning numbers drawn, as set out in paragraph 4.2 (a).
2.5 A player may request one or two plays per ticket, at a cost of $2 per play.
2.6 For each ticket requested and paid for, the online system shall, for each play:
- choose for the player a Roll for the instant component of the game and Lotto Numbers for the draw component of the game;
- display on the customer display screen of the Corporation’s terminal used by the retailer the Roll chosen for the player (when available);
- print a ticket that will display:
- the Roll(s) played for the instant component of the game;
- the set(s) of Lotto Numbers for the draw component of the game;
- the applicable draw date the ticket is eligible for;
- the time (Eastern time) the ticket is printed by the Corporation’s terminal used by the retailer (which may be different than the time in the central computer-controlled on-line system, that directly controls the terminals);
- a message that will display whether the ticket is a winner on the instant component of the game;
- the dollar amount wagered, which amount varies depending on the number of play(s) requested; and
- other information pertinent to the game.
3.0 The Draw
Unless otherwise announced by the Corporation, on every day from Monday to Sunday, inclusive, the Corporation shall draw at random, for the draw component of the game, six numbers (winning numbers) from the class of 39 consecutive numbers from one to 39, followed by a draw at random of one of the remaining numbers in the class (“bonus number”).
4.0 Prize Structure
4.1 Prize structure for the instant component
Winning tickets for the instant component are determined based on the player’s Roll(s) and the Instant Winning Roll. Prizes are based on a fixed prize structure:

$100 1 in 1,333.03 4 of a Kind + 3 of a Kind Seven dice, consisting of four dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s) and three dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s) (but different than the first-mentioned four dice), e.g.
$25 1 in 266.61 5 of a Kind Seven dice, consisting of five dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s) and two dice showing any number of spot(s) (but different than the first-mentioned five dice), e.g.
$10 1 in 88.87 3 of a Kind + 3 of a Kind Seven dice, consisting of three dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s), three dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s) (but different than the first-mentioned three dice), and one dice showing any number of spot(s) (except the first-mentioned three dice and the second-mentioned three dice), e.g.
$5 1 in 33.33 3 of a Kind + 2 Pairs Seven dice, consisting of three dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s), two dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s) (but different than the first-mentioned three dice), and two dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s) (but different than the first-mentioned three dice and different than the second-mentioned two dice), e.g.
$4 1 in 22.22 Straight Seven dice, consisting of six dice showing one of each number of spot(s) and one dice showing any number of spot(s), e.g.
$3 1 in 18.51 4 of a Kind Seven dice, consisting of four dice showing exactly the same number of spot(s) and three dice showing any number of spot(s) (but different than the first-mentioned four dice), e.g.
$2 1 in 11.11 - A winner of an instant prize is entitled to only one instant prize per Roll.
4.2 Prize structure for the draw component
- Winning tickets for the draw component are determined based on the player’s Lotto Numbers and the winning numbers drawn for that draw. Prizes are based on the following fixed prize structure:

- A winner of a draw prize is entitled to only one draw prize per play.
- The Corporation limits the total prize amount payable on the draw portion of the game (6 of 6, 5 of 6 plus the bonus number, 5 of 6, 4 of 6, and 3 of 6) to one million dollars ($1,000,000) per draw. Should the aggregate of the prizes on the draw portion of the game that are available to be won by all winning tickets in any draw result in the draw portion of the game exceeding one million dollars ($1,000,000), the prize amounts on the draw portion of the game are reduced and are determined in proportion to the amount that would, except for this provision, otherwise have been won on the draw.
5.0 Conditions
5.1 A player must pay the retailer for his/her ticket, and the retailer must receive such payment, prior to the retailer delivering the ticket to the player.
5.2 A player may not request the ticket to be cancelled after the ticket has started to print.
5.3 Instant winning prizes may be awarded before the draw, after the ticket is issued and payment for the ticket is received.
5.4 When an instant winning ticket is redeemed before the draw has taken place, the Corporation shall deliver to the player a ticket receipt (an Exchange Ticket) for the corresponding draw and a validation slip (customer receipt) containing information relating to the MEGADICE LOTTO Instant Prize(s) already redeemed.
6.0 Miscellaneous
6.1 The Corporation may amend the Game Conditions at any time and in any manner.
6.2 The headings in these Game Conditions are for convenience of reference only and do not affect the interpretation of these Game Conditions.
6.3 Unless otherwise specified by the Corporation, these Game Conditions are confirmed to be effective as of May 4, 2014.
