POWERBUCKS^TM WATCH ‘N WIN LOTTERY GAME CONDITIONS

1.0 Rules

1.1 POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN is governed by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (the “Corporation” or “OLG”) Rules Respecting Lottery Games which are available upon request and include limitations of liability.

1.2 Words used in these Game Conditions which are used in the Rules Respecting Lottery Games shall have the same meaning as those used in the Rules Respecting Lottery Games.

1.3 In these Game Conditions:

“Contributions” means the amount or percentage of a wager placed by a player on Games that are allocated to a Wide-Area Progressive Jackpot.

“Games” means wagering game(s) of chance, such as casino games, digital games, lottery games and all other forms of games.

“POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot” means the Wide-Area Progressive Jackpot owned and managed by IGT Canada Solutions ULC (“IGT”) that is integrated into POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN.

“POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot Meter” means the point in time visual representation of the value of the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot.

“Provincial Entity” means OLG or another entity that is permitted under the Criminal Code (Canada) to conduct and manage a “lottery scheme” or is legally authorized by such an entity to operate a “lottery scheme”.

“RNG” means the random number generator used by the Corporation for POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN.

“Seed Amount” means the minimum value of a progressive jackpot.

“Theme” means the entertainment layer visualizing the instant component of the POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN.

“Wide-Area Progressive Jackpot” means a progressive jackpot that begins at a Seed Amount and increases with Contributions from participating Games operated by IGT or a Provincial Entity.

2.0 Game Participation

2.1 The POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN lottery ticket costs $3 per ticket and consists of two components: i) an instant component; and ii) a draw component.

2.2 A player may participate by Quick Pick play only with a limit of one selection per ticket purchased.

2.3 The instant component features outcomes determined by the RNG and animated through a Theme, which may be shown on the customer display unit of the retailer terminal.

2.4 The draw component of the game features six (6) numbers from one (1) to thirty-six (36).

2.5 For each POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN ticket requested and paid for, the Corporation’s on-line system shall:

(a) determine the instant component outcome and six (6) numbers from one (1) to thirty-six (36) for the draw component.

(b) display a video for the Theme on the customer display screen of the retailer’s terminal (when available).

(c) print a ticket that will display:

(i)       the instant component outcome;

(ii)      the six (6) numbers for the draw component;

(iii)     the applicable draw date the ticket is eligible for;

(iv)      the time (Eastern time) the ticket is printed by the retailer’s terminal; and

(v)       other pertinent information.

3.0 The Draw

3.1 Unless otherwise announced by the Corporation, every day after 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time, the Corporation shall draw at random, by electronic means, six (6) numbers from the class of thirty-six (36) consecutive numbers from one (1) to thirty-six (36). The draw shall be for the draw component of the game.

4.0 Prize Structure and Liability Limit

4.1 Instant Component

(a) A player has a chance to win, per ticket, one of the following instant component prizes at its corresponding odds (the “Instant Prizes”, and each an “Instant Prize”):

(b) A winning ticket for the instant component is a ticket that has won an Instant Prize as determined by RNG and recorded in OLG’s on-line system.

(c) Subject to Section 6.4, the ticket purchased remains eligible for the draw component regardless of the instant component outcome.

(d) POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot:

(i) For POWERBUCKS WATCH’N WIN, the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot can only be won through the instant component.

(ii) The POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot begins at a Seed Amount of $1,000,000 and increases with Contributions from POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN tickets purchased and any wagers placed on Games participating in the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot that are operated by a Provincial Entity or IGT within Canada. Contributions from participating Games to the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot may vary and is at the discretion of IGT.

(iii) The POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot could be won at any time through another participating Game in the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot that is operated by a Provincial Entity or IGT, but is not the POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN.

(iv) After a win of the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot through a POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN ticket or another participating Game, the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot value will be reset to the Seed Amount of $1,000,000 and increase again with Contributions.

(v) The POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot is not subject to a maximum value limit. 

(vi) The POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot Meter as advertised by OLG through various media (i.e. at retail, online at OLG.ca and on mobile applications (when available)) is an estimate and for information purposes only.

(vii) When the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot is won through a POWERBUCKS WATCH’N WIN ticket, OLG will validate and verify the win with IGT and the value of the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot as determined by the timestamp recorded for the win in IGT’s system.

(viii) Where a winning outcome for the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot occurs after another winning outcome for the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot, the amount won by the second winning outcome for the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot may be the Seed Amount. The order of winning for the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot is determined by the timestamp applied to each win recorded in IGT’s system.

(ix) GT in its sole discretion, reserves the right to manage the POWERBUCKS Progressive Jackpot as it deems appropriate.

(e) Limit of one (1) Instant Prize per winning ticket.

4.2 Draw Component

(a) Winning tickets for the draw are determined based on a player’s selections matching the winning numbers drawn for the respective draw. Draw component prizes are based on the following fixed prize structure:

(b) A winner of a draw prize is entitled to only one (1) draw prize per ticket.

(c) The Corporation limits the total prize amount payable for all winning tickets on the draw component of the game (6 of 6, 5 of 6, 4 of 6 and 3 of 6) to two million dollars ($2,000,000) per draw. Should the aggregate of the prizes on the draw component of the game for all winning tickets in any draw result in the aggregate of prizes exceeding two million dollars ($2,000,000), the prize amounts on the draw component of the game that are payable will be reduced and determined in proportion to the amount that would, except for this provision, otherwise have been won on the draw. For greater certainty, this Section 4.2 (c) only applies to the draw component of POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN.

5.0 Themes

5.1 POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN may offer multiple Themes, alone or concurrently, that are subject to change at any time at the sole and absolute discretion of OLG. All Themes are for entertainment purposes only and have no impact on the determination of the instant or draw component outcome as determined by the POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN odds and RNG.

5.2 Regardless of whether a Theme is offered alone or multiple Themes are offered concurrently, the draw component of POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN will only have one set of winning numbers for the corresponding draw.

5.3 The current Theme(s) of POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN are:

5.4 The instant component outcome as visualized through the Theme on the customer display unit and the POWERBUCKS WATCH ‘N WIN ticket will be the same. In the event of any discrepancy, the Instant Prize as determined by RNG and recorded in OLG’s on-line system governs.

6.0 Conditions

6.1 A player must pay the retailer for their ticket, and the retailer must receive such payment, prior to the retailer delivering the ticket to the player.

6.2 A player may not request the ticket to be cancelled, and the retailer may not cancel it, after the ticket has printed.

6.3 Instant Prizes may be awarded before the draw, after the ticket is issued and payment for the ticket is received.

6.4 When an instant component winning ticket is redeemed before the draw has taken place, the Corporation shall deliver to the player a ticket receipt (an Exchange Ticket) for the corresponding draw and a validation slip (customer receipt) containing information relating to the POWERBUCKS WATCH N’ WIN Instant Prize already redeemed.

7.0 Miscellaneous

7.1 The Corporation may amend these Game Conditions at any time and in any manner.

7.2 The headings in these Game Conditions are for convenience of reference only and do not affect the interpretation of these Game Conditions.

7.3 Unless otherwise specified by the Corporation, these Game Conditions are confirmed to be effective as of April 22, 2025.
