1 Introduction
- 1.1 These Promotion Specific Terms (the “Promotion Specific Terms”) contain the specific terms and conditions which govern the “New Year, New Games – Get $5 Back When You Spend $5 on Select Lottery Games” (the “Promotion”). By opting-in to this Promotion, a Player, Prospective Player, Intending Player, or any other user (as applicable) (all the foregoing, hereinafter an “Individual”) is confirming that they understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these Promotion Specific Terms which govern this Promotion.
- 1.2 This Promotion is subject to the General Terms and conditions which may be found here. The General Terms are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Promotion Specific Terms. Any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion Specific Terms and the General Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
- 1.3 The General Terms contain the terms and conditions that govern, among other things, Merged Bonuses, Wagering Requirements, Wagering Periods, and Qualifying Requirements. If an Individual does not agree with these Promotion Specific Terms of the General Terms, they must (i) not opt in to the Promotion; or (ii) immediately opt-out of the Promotion.
- 1.4 This Promotion is intended to be conducted separately and with a distinct set of Promotion Specific Terms from all other promotions being administered by OLG.
2 Promotion Eligibility
- 2.1 The Promotion is available in Ontario only and only to those residing in Ontario who (at the time of participation):
- are eighteen (18) years of age or older;
- have a valid Player Account that is in good standing in accordance with the Player Agreement and has not been archived, self-excluded or deactivated; and
- have been selected to participate in this Promotion, all as determined by OLG (“Eligible Participant”).
- 2.2 In the event that an Individual does not meet the eligibility requirements as set forth herein, OLG has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the Individual from participating in this Promotion. The disqualified Individual will not be entitled to any Bonus or other substitute benefit due to such disqualification.
3 Promotion Period
- 3.1 This Promotion is available and redeemable as of January 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to January 24, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. (the “Promotion Period”).
- 3.2 Once opted in, the Eligible Participant must meet the Qualifying Requirements within fourteen (14) calendar days in order to receive the Lottery Bonus. If the Eligible Participant does not meet such requirements, the Promotion will be removed from their Player Account.
4 How to Participate
- 4.1 In order to participate in this Promotion, an Eligible Participant must:
- Log-in to their Player Account; and
- Opt-in to the “New Year, New Games” Promotion by visiting the “Promotions Lobby” or promotion details page on OLG.ca and selecting the “Opt In” button. Once an Eligible Participant has met the Qualifying Requirements, they will be provided a Lottery Bonus of $5.00 (CAD) credited to their Lottery Bonus balance.
5 Qualifying Requirements
- 5.1 The Qualifying Requirements for this Promotion that must be satisfied in order to redeem the $5 Lottery Bonus are as follows:
- Within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date that the Eligible Participant opts into this Promotion (the “Qualifying Period”), the Eligible Participant must spend an aggregate of $5.00 (CAD) or more on Daily Keno, Daily Grand or Ontario 49 at OLG.ca (the “Eligible Games”). If an Eligible Participant does not meet these requirements within the fourteen (14) calendar days, this Promotion will be removed from their Player Account and no compensation of any sort will be provided.
- This Promotion requires that an Eligible Participant fulfills the Qualifying Requirements using Unutilized Funds from their Cash Balance in the amount equal to or exceeding $5.00 (CAD) in aggregate during the Qualifying Period in order to be eligible to receive their Lottery Bonus. For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Participant may meet this requirement through multiple purchases on any combination of Eligible Games.
- The Unutilized Funds spent on Encore does not count towards fulfilling the Qualifying Requirement. In the event that an Eligible Participant adds Encore play(s) to their tickets for Eligible Games, only the Eligible Games portion of their total ticket price paid with the Unutilized Funds will be contribute towards the Qualifying Requirement.
6 General Terms
- 6.1 Eligible Participants may only redeem the Promotion one (1) time. The Lottery Bonus provided in connection with this Promotion shall not exceed five Canadian dollars ($5.00 CAD), regardless of the amount spent on Eligible Games.
