INTRODUCTION
- The “OLG VIP Experiential Event – VIP Regal Experience Gift” (the “Promotion”) is governed by these Promotion Specific Terms (these “Promotion Specific Terms”) and is sponsored by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (“OLG”). By opting-in to this Promotion in accordance with Section 18, a Player, Prospective Player, Intending Player, or any other user (as applicable) (all the foregoing, hereinafter an “Individual”) is confirming that they understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these Promotion Specific Terms which govern this Promotion.
- This Promotion is subject to the General Terms and conditions which may be found here. The General Terms are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Promotion Specific Terms. OLG may revise the Promotion Specific Terms from time to time and in such a manner as OLG, acting in its sole discretion, determines to be appropriate. Any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion Specific Terms and the General Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
- OLG may disclose the personal contact information associated with a Gift Recipient’s Player Account to third parties, which may include any agency responsible for gift fulfillment, who will be using the information for the purpose of providing the Gift to the Gift Recipient. Third parties are contractually obligated to protect the privacy of Players and will use the personal information solely for the specific purpose(s) aforementioned.
- If an Individual does not agree with these Promotion Specific Terms or the General Terms, they must not participate in the Promotion.
- This Promotion is intended to be conducted separately and with a distinct set of Promotion Specific Terms from all other promotions being administered by OLG.
PROMOTION ELIGIBILITY
- This Promotion is available in Ontario only and to residents of Ontario who (at the time of participation):
- are nineteen (19) years of age or older;
- have a valid Player Account that is in good standing in accordance with the Player Agreement and has not been archived, registered for My PlayBreak or deactivated; and
- have been selected by OLG, in its sole and absolute discretion (each, an “Eligible Participant” and collectively, “Eligible Participants”).
Volunteers, employees, officers, and directors of OLG, any of OLG’s advertising, promotion and contest management agencies, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”), IGT Canada Solutions ULC (“IGT”), Casa Loma; Liberty Entertainment Group (“Casa Loma”), and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, members, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
- In the event that an Individual does not meet the eligibility requirements as set-forth herein, OLG has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the Individual from participating in the Promotion. The disqualified Individual will not be entitled to any substitute benefit or any other form of compensation due to such disqualification.
PROMOTION PERIOD
- This Promotion is available for Eligible Participants to redeem as of January 4, 2023 at 3:00 PM EST and shall continue until January 17, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST (the “Promotion Period”).
GIFT
- There are a total of seventy-five (75) gifts available in this Promotion as described below (individually, a “Gift”, and collectively, the “Gifts”):

The “Experiential Gift” consists of the following components:
- Exclusive access for two (2) to attend the VIP Regal Experience @ 6:00 PM EST on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Casa Loma in Toronto, ON (the “Event”), as further described below.
$500.00 CAD
- The Event will consist of the following opportunities:
- Four (4) booths with IGT game studio representatives offering Gift Recipients and their guests the opportunity to learn more about current and future IGT games.
- Each Gift Recipient and their guest will be eligible for a maximum of one (1) spin of the BIGGER SPIN (the “Game”) per participant on site at the Event, and will receive a prize ranging from twenty-five dollars to one hundred dollars ($25 - $100 CAD) corresponding to the outcome of each eligible Gift Recipient’s spin, as indicated on the relevant Game on the day of the Event. Prizes are non-transferrable and must be accepted as awarded. Maximum of one prize per participant. The Game is subject to further terms and conditions as indicated on the day of the Event.
- Participation in the Event contest, namely the “Passport Draw”. To be eligible for the Passport Draw, each eligible Gift Recipient in attendance will be given an Event passport. For each IGT booth along with the BIGGER SPIN, the eligible Gift Recipient will receive one (1) Event Passport stamp [five (5) total stamps]. The Gift Recipient must visit all four (4) IGT stations along with BIGGER SPIN and receive a stamp at each to be eligible to be drawn as a winner. Each fully stamped Event Passport is eligible for one (1) entry into the Passport Draw ballot drum. Maximum of one entry per eligible Gift Recipient. The five (5) Passport Draw winners will have the opportunity for one (1) additional spin on BIGGER SPIN at the Event and will receive a prize ranging from five hundred dollars to two thousand dollars ($500 - $2,000 CAD) corresponding to the outcome of the winner’s spin, as indicated on the BIGGER SPIN. Passport Draw is subject to further terms and conditions as indicated on the day of the Event.
- A reception which will include a dinner and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Gifts include only those elements described in Section 9 and 10. Gifts (and any components or elements thereof) may not be separated and none of its components are eligible for upgrades or loyalty points or rewards.
- Gifts are non-transferable and non-assignable and can only be redeemed by an Eligible Participant. Gifts must be accepted as awarded.
- Gifts and Gift components are subject to change. In the event an Eligible Participant is unable to themselves make use of any component of a Gift in accordance with the Promotion Specific Terms, they may lose any entitlement to the Gift or any substitute prize or benefit and OLG reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to designate a new Eligible Participant.
SELECTION PROCESS
- OLG will select, in its sole and absolute discretion, Seventy-five (75) Eligible Participants to receive a Gift. If an Eligible Participant is disqualified from this Promotion, they shall lose their entitlement to a Gift and OLG may in its sole and absolute discretion select another Eligible Participant to whom a Gift will be offered. OLG may continue this process until all Gifts have been redeemed.
- Experiential Gifts will be awarded to Eligible Participants on a first come, first served basis in the order in which each Eligible Participant has opted-in to this Promotion in accordance with Section 18.
GIFT REDEMPTION AND FULLFILMENT
- For the purpose of the Promotion Specific Terms, a “Gift Recipient” is an Eligible Participant that has not been disqualified pursuant to the Promotion Specific Terms and redeems a Gift by opting-in to the Promotion and communicating their agreement to these Promotion Specific Terms in accordance with Section 18 within the timelines prescribed by OLG.
- Eligible Participants will each be notified of their status as Eligible Participants on January 18, 2023 at approximately 3:00 PM EST through (i) an email sent to the email address associated with the Player Account of the Eligible Participant; or (ii) a Player Account inbox message.
- In order to be considered for a Gift, the Eligible Participant must opt-in to the Promotion and communicate their agreement to these Promotion Specific Terms during the Promotion Period, using either of the following methods
- Log-in to their Player Account, navigate to the “Promotions Lobby”, and select the “Opt In” button for the “OLG VIP Experiential Event – VIP Regal Experience Gift” Promotion; or
- Log-in to their Player Account, navigate to the “Promotion Details Page” for “OLG VIP Experiential Event – VIP Regal Experience Gift” Promotion from the promotional banners/emails and select “Opt-In” button on the Promotion details page.
- To redeem a Gift, an Eligible Participant and their guest may be required to present a valid government-issued photo identification. If the Eligible Participant and/or their guest fail to do so, the applicable Gift may not be awarded and OLG will have no obligation to award any substitute gifts or rewards.
- On the arrival at the Event, an Eligible Participant and their guest may be required to sign an Event participation release. If the Eligible Participant and/or their guest fail to do so, the applicable Gift may not be awarded and OLG will have no obligation to award any substitute gift or rewards.
- A Gift will be awarded to a Gift Recipient as follows: OLG or one of its designates will provide the Experiential Gift components to the Eligible Recipient at the Casa Loma Entrance no earlier than 6:00 PM EST on the day of the Event. The Eligible Participant will receive an Event Confirmation Reminder Email on January 18, 2023 at 3:00 PM EST through the email sent to the email address associated with the Player Account of the Eligible Participant outlining the “OLG VIP Experiential Event – VIP Regal Experience Gift” details.
- If an Eligible Participant does not meet the requirements of Sections 18, 19, or 20, the Eligible Participant shall no longer be entitled to a Gift (or any substitute or other form of compensation) and OLG may in its sole and absolute discretion offer the Gift to another Eligible Participant.
- No substitutions or equivalent cash payments will be made for any Gift, save for OLG’s right, at its sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent or greater value. Except as specifically provided herein, unclaimed Gifts will not be awarded.
- There is a limit of one (1) Gift per Gift Recipient. In no event will an Eligible Participant be eligible to receive more than one (1) Gift.
- If it is discovered by OLG (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by OLG) that any Eligible Participant (or any person or entity purporting to be an Eligible Participant) has attempted to: (i) redeem more than one (1) Gift; and/or (ii) use multiple names, identities, email addresses and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or to disrupt this Promotion; then he/she may be disqualified from participating in the Promotion in the sole and absolute discretion of OLG and OLG will have no obligation to award the Gift in relation to that Eligible Participant.
- If the Eligible Participant no longer wishes to participate in the Promotion after completing the steps set out in either Section 18 (a) or (b), they must opt-out from the Promotion via the “Promotion Lobby” page of their Player Account or contact a OLG VIP Host through the “Contact Us” page or by calling 1-855-978-7529. After opting out, the Eligible Participant agrees that they will no longer be eligible to receive the Gift or any component thereof and OLG may in its sole and absolute discretion offer the Gift to another Eligible Participant.
GIFT RECIPIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guest Selection. A Gift Recipient of an Experiential Gift may have a guest attend the Event for which they received tickets as part of the redemption of their Experiential Gift. Such guest must, at the time of attending the Event, be 19 years of age or older. In respect of any guest attending the Experiential Gift with the Eligible Participant, the Eligible Participant agrees to comply with all relevant provisions of the Promotion Specific Terms as they pertain to their guest’s attendance, and further agree to be solely responsible for any acts or omissions of said guest.
- Third Party Terms. The Eligible Participant understands and acknowledges that each component of the Gift and the use thereof may be subject to a separate set of third-party terms and conditions, including but not limited to rules, regulations, restrictions, terms and conditions indicated on any tickets associated with the Experiential Gift, in force at the venue hosting the Events, and any health and safety polices or protocols associated with any of the foregoing (e.g., COVID-19 testing requirements, vaccination requirements and proof, social distancing requirements, requirements for face coverings, etc.) (“Third Party Terms”). The Gift Recipient is responsible for determining the Third-Party Terms applicable to the Gift (or component thereof) and their use thereof and hereby agrees to comply with such applicable Third Party Terms. OLG, IGT and Casa Loma do not make and expressly disclaim any representations or warranties with respect to any Gift component and expressly disclaim any responsibility or liability to a Gift Recipient for any Gift component. The Gift Recipient and guest are solely responsible for complying with Third Party Terms; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Gift.
- Expenses and Transportation. Any and all expenses or other requirements associated with the Experiential Gift not expressly provided for herein are the sole responsibility of the Gift Recipient. The Gift Recipient is responsible for arranging transportation for themselves and their guest to and from the location of the Event.
GENERAL TERMS
- Disclaimer. OLG, IGT and Casa Loma will have no responsibility whatsoever in respect of any claim arising in connection with the participation in the Promotion or any Gift awarded. Casa Loma have not offered or sponsored the Promotion in any way.
- COVID-19. Furthermore, the Eligible Participant acknowledges, understands, and agrees that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 at any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. The Eligible Participant assumes all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and the Eligible Participant hereby waives all claims and potential claims against OLG relating to such risks, hazards, and dangers.
- Force Majeure. In the event a Gift (or any component or element thereof) cannot be awarded as contemplated by the Promotion Specific Terms due to circumstances outside of the reasonable control of OLG, IGT and/or Casa Loma, including but not limited to an act of God, acts or policies of any federal, regional or municipal governmental authority (domestic or foreign), strikes, lockouts, pandemic, fires, floods, earthquake, storm, or epidemic, OLG, shall not be in breach of the Promotion Specific Terms and, as applicable, may, in their discretion, without providing prior notice to the Eligible Participant or Gift Recipient, as applicable, and without incurring penalty or liability:
- provide an altered or modified Gift (or any component or element thereof) to the Gift Recipient as OLG, IGT and/or Casa Loma, as applicable, deems necessary; or
- substitute the Gift (or any component or element thereof) with a prize (or any component or element thereof) of equal or greater approximate retail value.
- Eligible Participants hereby agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless forever OLG, IGT, Casa Loma, and their direct and indirect subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives, employees, successors and assigns from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities and costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) which may arise from, or in relation to:
- the Eligible Participant’s participation in this Promotion;
- any breach by the Eligible Participant of any covenants, agreements, terms, obligations, representations, or warranties set forth herein; and
- the acceptance, receipt, possession, use, misuse or non-use of the Gift or any component thereof by the Eligible Participant
- The decisions of OLG with respect to all aspects of this Promotion are final and binding without review or right of appeal. By participating in this Promotion, each Participant is agreeing to be legally bound by these Promotion Specific Terms. ANYONE DEEMED BY OLG TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS FOR ANY REASON IS SUBJECT TO DISQUALIFICATION IN THE SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF OLG AT ANY TIME.
