TERMS AND CONDITIONS
“OLG LOTTERY – TEAM CANADA SWEEPSTAKES + GO TRANSIT RIDE GIVEAWAY PROMOTION”
ONTARIO LOTTERY AND GAMING CORPORATION
JULY 15, 2024 – AUGUST 12, 2024

1 Introduction

1. 1.1 These Promotion Specific Terms (the “Promotion Specific Terms”) contain the specific terms and conditions which govern the “OLG LOTTERY – TEAM CANADA SWEEPSTAKES + GO TRANSIT RIDE GIVEAWAY PROMOTION” promotion (the “Promotion”). By participating in this Promotion, a Player, Prospective Player, Intending Player, or any other user (as applicable) (all the foregoing, hereinafter an “Individual”) is confirming that they understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these Promotion Specific Terms which govern this Promotion.
2. 1.2 This Promotion consists of a sweepstakes component for a chance to win a trip for two to the Milan Winter Olympics in 2026 as set out in Sections 3, and 5-10 (“Sweepstakes”) as well as a promotion component wherein the first 40,000 Eligible Participants to opt-in to the Promotion and make an Eligible Lottery Purchase will receive a Voucher for a free single GO Transit ride (up to $20), as further set out in Sections 3-4 below (“GO Ride Promotion”). Unless otherwise indicated, the term “Promotion” refers collectively to both the Sweepstakes and the GO Ride Promotion.
3. 1.3 This Promotion is subject to the General Terms and conditions which may be found here. The General Terms are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Promotion Specific Terms. Any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion Specific Terms and the General Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms, unless otherwise specified in these Promotion Specific Terms in accordance with Section 1.4 of the General Terms. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
4. 1.4 This Promotion is intended to be conducted separately and with a distinct set of Promotion Specific Terms from all other promotions being administered by OLG.
5. 1.5 By participating in this Sweepstakes, the Eligible Participant (as defined in Section 2.1)  confirms that they understand, accept and agree that, if the Eligible Participant wins and accepts any Prize, OLG may publish the first name and last name initials of the Eligible Participant, the town/city in which they reside, the Prize(s) they have won and the date on which such Prize(s) were won, without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of OLG in any manner or medium whatsoever, including print, broadcast, or the internet on OLG.ca. If the Eligible Participant does not agree with the foregoing in this Section 1.5, they are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Eligible Participant may also at their discretion choose to share photographs or testimonials of themselves and/or their guest at the Event on social media (“Post(s)”). To the extent any Post(s) tag or otherwise engage with any OLG brand on social media, the Eligible Participant agrees and acknowledges that OLG may publish or otherwise disseminate the Post in accordance with its Social Media Participation Policy. The Eligible Participant shall be responsible for ensuring it has the consent of any guest or other third party depicted in such Post prior to engaging with any OLG brand.

2 Promotion Eligibility

1. 2.1 The Promotion is available in Ontario only and only to those residing in Ontario who (at the time of participation):
   1. are eighteen (18) years of age or older; and
   2. have a valid Player Account that is in good standing in accordance with the Player Agreement and has not been archived, registered for My PlayBreak or deactivated (“Eligible Participant”).
   3. have been selected to participate in this Promotion, all as determined by OLG ("Eligible Participant").

   Volunteers, employees, officers and directors of OLG, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and any of OLG’s advertising, promotion, contest management agencies, the Canadian Olympic Committee (“COC”) and Metrolinx (collectively, the “Promotion Parties”), are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

2. 2.2 If an Individual does not have a Player Account, they may register for one at OLG.ca and follow the steps below to participate in this Promotion. There is no cost associated with signing up for an OLG.ca account.
3. 2.3 In the event that an Individual does not meet the eligibility requirements as set forth herein, OLG has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the Individual from participating in this Promotion. The disqualified Individual will not be entitled to any Voucher, Prize, or any other substitute benefit due to such disqualification.

3 Promotion Period

1. 3.1 This Promotion is available from July 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. ET until August 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”).
2. 3.2 Notwithstanding Section 3.1, eligibility for the GO Ride Promotion will be limited to the first forty thousand (40,000) Eligible Participants who opt in to this Promotion in accordance with these Promotion Terms and make an Eligible Lottery Purchase starting on July 15, 2024 at 10 am ET (“GO Ride Promotion Limit”). In the event that the GO Ride Promotion Limit is reached prior to the end of the Promotion Period as determined solely by OLG, the Eligible Participant will not be eligible to earn any Voucher and will only be eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes component of this Promotion.

4 HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GO RIDE PROMOTION

1. 4.1 In order to participate in the Go Ride Promotion, an Eligible Participant must be one of the first 40,000 Eligible Participants to complete all of the following steps during the Promotion Period:
   1. Log-in to their Player Account and navigate to the “Promotions Lobby” and opt-in to the Promotion by selecting “Opt-In” on the promotion tile (“Promotion Tile”) or an Eligible Participant may navigate to the “Promotion Detail Page” and select the “Opt-In” button;
   2. Upon Opting-In, Eligible Participants will be presented a notification indicating that their Opt-In was successful. The Promotion Tile will then appear in the Eligible Participant’s “Your Active Promotions” section of their Player Account. Eligible Participants can only opt in one (1) time; and
   3. After Opting-in, the Eligible Participant must make a purchase of any Draw-Based Lottery Game Played Online on OLG.ca not funded by Lottery Bonus(es) (an “Eligible Lottery Purchase”). Only Direct Pay or Unutilized Funds can be used to make an Eligible Lottery Purchase.
2. 4.2 An Eligible Participant who meets the criteria set out in Section 4.1 will receive one (1) single-use voucher redeemable for up to $20 for a single GO Transit ride (“Voucher”), which will be sent by email to the email associated with the Player Account within four (4) business days of when the GO Ride Promotion Limit is reached or the end of the Promotion Period. The Voucher is subject to separate terms and conditions, has no cash value, and expires on August 31, 2024. Eligible Participants are solely responsible for reviewing and ensuring compliance with any third-party terms associated with the Voucher.
3. 4.3 There is a limit of one (1) Voucher per Eligible Participant, regardless of the number of lottery purchases made during the Promotion Period. For the sake of clarity, the first Eligible Lottery Purchase made as part of this Promotion will make the Eligible Participant eligible to receive the Voucher and will also be eligible for the purposes of generating Entries (as defined below) into the Sweepstakes as set out in more detail in Section 6 below.
4. 4.4 The availability of the GO Ride Promotion is subject to the Go Ride Promotion Limit as set out in Section 3.2 above.

5 SWEEPSTAKES ODDS, NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

1. 5.1 The odds of winning a Prize in this Promotion vary depending on number of Entries received by OLG during the Promotion Period.
2. 5.2 THERE IS NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROMOTION.

6 HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SWEEPSTAKES

1. 6.1 Purchase Method: First, an Eligible Participant must Opt-In to this Promotion in accordance with 4.1a and b. Once opted-in, an Eligible Participant can earn entries for the Sweepstakes (each, an "Entry", and collectively, the "Entries") by either making an Eligible Purchase or using the no-purchase necessary method of entry set out in Section 6.4 below. To earn entries by making a purchase(s), Unutilized Funds or Direct Pay must be used during the Promotion Period, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below:
   1. An Eligible Participant will earn one (1) Entry for every one dollar ($1.00 CAD) spent on any Draw-Based Lottery Games Played Online (not funded by Lottery Bonus(es)) during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Purchase”).
   2. An Eligible Participant can earn a maximum of one-hundred (100) Entries during the Promotion Period.
   3. For the avoidance of doubt, where a Draw-Based Lottery Games Played Online ticket is purchased by way of subscription, only the tickets successfully purchased during the Promotion Period and after signing in to an OLG.ca account during the Promotion Period shall contribute to Entries; any lottery tickets purchased online outside of the Promotion Period shall not be eligible toward earning Entries.
2. 6.2 No Purchase Necessary Option for Sweepstakes Entries: An Eligible Participant is not required to make any purchase or wager any Unutilized Funds to participate in the Sweepstakes. If an Eligible Participant wishes to participate in the Sweepstakes without such purchase or wager, they may:
   1. Print their first name, last name, telephone number and complete mailing address (including postal code) on a plain white piece of paper and mail it (in an envelope with sufficient postage) along with a one hundred (100) or more word, comprehensible, unique and original handwritten, essay (the “Essay”) on why they like Lottery Games on OLG.ca (the “Essay Question”) to: Digital Product Management – Retention, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, OLG.ca, 4120 Yonge Street, North York, ON M2P 2B8 (the “Request”). The Essay must include the Eligible Participant’s OLG.ca username and address as registered on the Eligible Participant’s Player Account. For greater certainty, Essays that are not comprehensible or Essays that fail to respond to the Essay Question in one hundred (100) words or more, as determined by OLG in its sole and absolute discretion, are void. Each request will be deemed to have been made on the day it was received by OLG;
   2. To be eligible, any Request that an Eligible Participant submits must: (i) be received separately, each in a separate envelope each bearing sufficient postage (e.g., multiple Requests in the same envelope will be void); (ii) be post-marked during the Promotion Period and received by OLG during the Promotion Period; and (iii) specify the name of this Promotion, OLG – TEAM CANADA SWEEPSTAKES + GO TRANSIT RIDE GIVEAWAY (Requests that fail to specify are void);
   3. The Eligible Participant will earn one (1) Entry for each unique Essay submitted, until they earn the maximum of one-hundred (100) Entries during the Promotion Period; and
   4. In no event can an Eligible Participant combine Requests and the purchase/wager option of obtaining Entries to exceed the amount of Entries noted in term 6.1(c), above.

7 Prizes

1. 7.1 There is a total of one prize (“Prize”) available to be won in the Sweepstakes as further described below:

   A trip for two (2) to attend the 2026 Winter Olympics (the “Event”) currently scheduled to take place February 6-22, 2026 in Milan, Italy (“Event Location”), consisting of: 1. Round-trip economy air transportation for two (2) persons from a major airport with scheduled air service near the Winner’s residence within Ontario, or other means of transportation from a point of departure near the Winner’s residence (if more reasonable), to Milan, Italy. 2. A trip package for two (2) persons to the Milan 2026 Winter Olympic Games, including the following items: Two (2) tickets to watch Team Canada at Olympic games. More information on exact event attendance to be provided 2 months prior to departure. Standard hotel accommodation for four nights (one room, double occupancy) at Hotel within close proximity to event venue. Two (2) passes for public transportation on the Milan Metro for the duration of the trip.	1	$30,000.00 CAD

2. 7.2 The Prize includes only those elements described in Section 7.1. The Prize (and any components or elements thereof) may not be separated and none of its components are eligible for upgrades or loyalty points or rewards. The Prize may not be exactly as shown in promotional materials for the Promotion.
3. 7.3 ALL DATES, TIMES, LOCATIONS, VENUES, FEATURES OF ANY COMPONENT OF THE PRIZE AND ANY OTHER DETAILS OF ANY COMPONENT OF THE PRIZE THAT HAVE NOT BEEN SPECIFIED HEREIN (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, SEAT SELECTION FOR EACH EVENT, SEAT SELECTION, DATES AND TIMES AND AIRLINE FOR AIR TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE FLIGHT DESTINATION FOR THE PRIZE, AND SELECTION OF VENUE FOR ACCOMMODATIONS) SHALL BE DETERMINED BY OLG, COC, AND/OR OLG’S DESIGNATED AGENCY, AS APPLICABLE, IN THEIR SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.In the event a Winner is unable to themselves make use of any component of the Prize in accordance with the Promotion Specific Terms, (e.g. they are unable to travel to the Flight Destination on the dates that have been selected), they may lose any entitlement to the Prize or any substitute prize or benefit and OLG reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to designate a new Eligible Winner from the Back-Up Entry next in priority.
4. 7.4 The Prize (and all components thereof, used or unused) is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-assignable and can only be redeemed by the Winner. The Prize can only be accepted as awarded. Unused components of the Prize cannot be applied towards any subsequent event.
5. 7.5 No substitutions of the Prize are to be made except at OLG’s election. Except as specifically provided herein, an unclaimed Prize will not be awarded.

8 Winner Responsibilities - Sweepstakes

1. 8.1 Guest Selection. The Winner’s guest must be 18 years of age or older prior to the awarding of the Prize to the Winner.
2. 8.2 Expenses and Transportation. Any and all expenses or other requirements associated with the Prize not expressly provided for herein are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
   1. The Prize Winner is responsible for arranging transportation for themselves and their guest to and from each departure airport. The Prize Winner is responsible for air travelling together with their guest to the Flight Destination in accordance with a specified flight itinerary to be provided to the Winner by the OLG or its designated agency, as part of Prize redemption, which will stipulate the Flight Destination, date and time for the flight departures to and from the Flight Destination, and the venue, location and length of stay of the Accommodations.
3. 8.3 The Winner of the Prize and their guest must have a valid passport prior to departing to the Flight Destination. The Winner of the Prize is solely responsible for obtaining documents necessary for their respective international travel, including but not limited to, passports and travel visas
4. 8.4 The Prize does not include insurance, parking fees, baggage fees, alcoholic beverages, any items not expressly specified, and personal expenses such as telephone calls, valet service, room service, laundry, incidentals and the like, all of which shall be the obligation of the Prize Winner
5. 8.5 Any prize element, or portion thereof, that is not used due to the delay in travel will be forfeited.
6. 8.6 The Winner is solely responsible for the actions of their guest accompanying them during the trip. OLG reserves the right to require that any approved guest sign a separate release as a precondition to participating in the Prize. Unless otherwise permitted expressly by OLG, the guest must accompany the Winner on the same itinerary. Guests may not be substituted for any other person without the express written consent of OLG.
7. 8.7 The Winner of the Prize, and/or their guest must have a valid credit card to be recorded with the hotel for all incidentals at the hotel.
8. 8.8 Third Party Terms. Eligible Participants understand and acknowledge that each component of the Prize and the use thereof may be subject to a separate set of third-party terms and conditions, including but not limited to rules, regulations, restrictions, terms and conditions indicated on any tickets associated with the Prize, in force at the venue hosting each event, as part of air travel to and from the Flight Destination, as part of the Winner and their guest’s stay at the hotel for Accommodations (e.g. presenting a valid credit card at the time of hotel check-in), and any health and safety polices or protocols associated with any of the foregoing (e.g., COVID-19 testing requirements, vaccination requirements and proof, social distancing requirements, requirements for face coverings, etc.) (“Third Party Terms”). The Eligible Winner is responsible for determining the Third Party Terms applicable to the Prize (or component thereof) and their use thereof and hereby agrees to comply with such applicable Third Party Terms. OLG does not make and expressly disclaims any representations or warranties with respect to any Prize component and expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability to a Winner for any Prize component. The Winner and guest are solely responsible for complying with Third Party Prize Terms; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

9 SWEEPSTAKES DRAW

1. 9.1 On August 15, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m. ET in Toronto, Ontario, four (4) Eligible Participants will be selected by a random draw (the “Prize Draw”) from all eligible Entries received by OLG in accordance with these Promotion Specific Terms.
2. 9.2 For the purpose of the Promotion Specific Terms, an eligible winner (“Eligible Winner”) is the earliest Selected Participant that has not been disqualified pursuant to the Promotion Specific Terms and is eligible to redeem a Prize, subject to Section 10.
3. 9.3 The selection of Eligible Winners shall be determined as follows (each a “Selected Participant”):
   1. The first selected Eligible Participant drawn will be the Eligible Winner of the Prize;
   2. The next three (3) Eligible Participants will be drawn as back-up entries (“Back-Up Entry”) in the event that a Selected Participant cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, or fails to complete the Skill-Testing Question. The Back-Up Entry will replace the disqualified Selected Participant in descending order in accordance with the order in which the Back-Up Entries were drawn.

10 PRIZE REDEMPTION AND SKILL TESTING QUESTION

1. 10.1 For the purpose of the Promotion Specific Terms, a “Winner” is an Eligible Winner who redeems the Prize by first completing the following requirements within timelines prescribed by OLG:
   1. the Eligible Winner must follow the instructions on claiming the Prize in accordance with Section 10.2;
   2. the Eligible Winner must confirm receipt of the OLG notification that they are the Eligible Winner in accordance with Section 10.3;
   3. if applicable, the Eligible Winner must satisfy the requirements in Section 10.5;
   4. if applicable, the Eligible Winner must satisfy the requirements in Section 10.6; and
   5. the Eligible Winner must correctly answer the Skill-Testing Question in accordance with Section 10.7.
2. 10.2 An Eligible Winner will be initially notified of their status as an Eligible Winner and to arrange for redemption of the Prize by email according to the contact information associated with their Player Account within forty-eight (48) hours of the time of the Prize Draw. This notification will include a Skill-Testing Question as contemplated in Section 10.8. The second attempt will be made three (3) days after the first attempt and the third attempt will be made within five (5) days after the second attempt. The second and third notification attempts will be made either by email or telephone according to the Eligible Winner’s contact information associated with their Player Account. The Eligible Winner will be required to follow the instructions on claiming the Prize detailed in such email to remain eligible for this Promotion.
3. 10.3 The Eligible Winner must confirm receipt of the OLG notification that they are the Eligible Winner, according to the instructions provided by OLG in its notification, within ten (10) days from the first attempt of contact to claim the Prize (“Prize Acknowledgement Deadline”). If the Eligible Winner fails to do so, they may lose any entitlement to the Prize and OLG reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select a new Eligible Winner from the eligible Back-Up Entries that were received in accordance with these Promotion Specific Terms (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected Eligible Winner).
4. 10.4 OLG will use reasonable efforts to notify the Selected Participants by telephone, email or mail, each of which according to the contact information registered on their Player Account, that they are an Eligible Winner and to arrange for the fulfilment of their Prize.
5. 10.5 An Eligible Winner, when instructed by OLG, must execute, and return OLG's standard declaration and release form which, among other matters:
   1. confirms their eligibility and compliance with the Promotion Specific Terms;
   2. acknowledges acceptance of the applicable Prize (as awarded);
   3. releases OLG, and the COC from liability in connection with the conduct of the Promotion and/or the awarding of the Prize; and
   4. agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of their name, address, voice, statements about the Promotion and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of OLG in any manner or medium whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet.
6. 10.6 In order to claim the Prize, the Eligible Winner may be required to present a valid government issued photo identification. If the Eligible Winner fails to do so, the applicable Prize may not be awarded and OLG has no obligation to award any substitute prizes or rewards.
7. 10.7 OLG reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and eligibility (in a form acceptable to the OLG – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (a) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes; (b) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and legitimacy of an Entry that is submitted (or purportedly submitted) for the purposes of this Sweepstakes; or (c) for any other reason OLG deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes in accordance with these Promotion Specific Terms. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of the Sponsor in a timely manner may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of OLG.
8. 10.8 An Eligible Winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question (the “Skill-Testing Question”) without mechanical or other aid in order to claim the Prize. The Skill-Testing Question will be communicated to the Eligible Winner as part of the initial notification of the Eligible Winner’s status as Eligible Winner contemplated in Section 8.2. Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, OLG may, in its sole and absolute discretion, administer an alternate test of skill as required to comply with applicable law (including applicable accessibility legislation).
9. 10.9 If an Eligible Winner fails to respond to OLG in accordance with any of the instructions provided in a communication to the Eligible Winner, or if the Eligible Winner fails to correctly answer the Skill-Testing Question within the timeframes detailed by OLG, the Eligible Winner may be disqualified from the Promotion at OLG’s sole and absolute discretion.

11 GENERAL TERMS

1. 11.1 OLG may disclose the personal contact and passport information associated with an Eligible Winner’s Player Account to third parties, which may include the Promotion Parties, who will use such personal information solely for the purpose of providing the Prize to the Eligible Participant.
2. 11.2 Disclaimer. OLG and the Promotion Parties disclaims any responsibility or liability whatsoever in respect of any claim arising in connection with the participation in the Promotion or any Prize awarded, including with respect of the following:
   1. The Eligible Participant’s use and/or enjoyment of the awarded Prize, or lack thereof;
   2. any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation or rescheduling;
   3. the failure of the Winner and/or guest to make use of the Prize themselves, including by failing to: (i) use any scheduled mode of transportation necessary to attend each event, including the boarding of flights to and from the Flight Destination that have been booked for the Prize; (ii) gain admission to venues hosting the Accommodations or each event; or (iii) agree or comply with Third Party Terms; and
   4. personal injury or death.
3. 11.3 Force Majeure. In the event the Prize (or any component or element thereof) cannot be awarded as contemplated by the Promotion Specific Terms due to circumstances outside of the reasonable control of OLG and/or the Promotion Parties, as applicable, including but not limited to an act of God, acts or policies of any federal, regional or municipal governmental authority (domestic or foreign), strikes, flight delays/cancellations (as applicable), lockouts, pandemic, fires, floods, earthquake, storm, or epidemic, OLG and/or the Promotion Parties, as applicable, shall not be in breach of the Promotion Specific Terms and, as applicable, may, in their discretion, without providing prior notice to the Eligible Participant, as applicable, and without incurring penalty or liability:
   1. provide an altered or modified Prize (or any component or element thereof) to the Winner as OLG and/or Promotion Parties deems necessary; or
   2. substitute the Prize (or any component or element thereof) with a prize (or any component or element thereof) of equal or greater approximate retail value.
4. 11.4 Indemnity and Release. Eligible Participants hereby agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless forever OLG, the AGCO, Metrolinx and COC and each of their respective direct and indirect subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives, employees, successors and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities and costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) which may arise from, or in relation to:
   1. the Eligible Participant’s participation in this Promotion;
   2. any breach by the Eligible Participant of any covenants, agreements, terms, obligations, representations, or warranties set forth herein;
   3. and the acceptance, receipt, possession, use, misuse or non-use of the Voucher, Prize or any component thereof by the Eligible Participant including, without limitation, any physical injury or death sustained by the Eligible Participant and any guest.
5. 11.5 Eligible Participants acknowledge, understand and agree that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 at any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Eligible Participants assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness, including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19, regardless of how caused or contracted, as part of their participation in this Promotion, and Eligible Participants hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against the Released Parties relating to such risks, hazards, and dangers.
6. 11.6 OLG reserves the right to deny an Entry or reject an Entry once accepted, for any reason which, in its sole judgment and discretion, it deems proper.
7. 11.7 LG reserves the right to terminate, suspend, modify, or withdraw from this Promotion, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason without prior notice. OLG also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates the Promotion Specific Terms, or otherwise acts in a disruptive manner. Without limiting the foregoing, OLG may declare ineligible any individual who, in OLG’s sole judgment does not otherwise meet eligibility requirements or is otherwise in breach of these Promotion Specific Terms.
8. 11.8 OLG reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice, to adjust any of the dates and/or timeframes stipulated in the Promotion Specific Terms to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any Eligible Participant, or Entry with the Promotion Specific Terms, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the OLG in their sole and absolute discretion, affects the proper administration of the Promotion as contemplated in the Promotion Specific Terms, or for any other reason. OLG reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, amend or suspend this Promotion, or to amend these Promotion Specific Terms, in any way without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason whatsoever. If due to printing, production, online, internet, computer, technical or other error of any kind whatsoever, more prizes are claimed than intended to be distributed or awarded according to these Promotion Specific Terms, then, in addition to having the right to terminate the Promotion immediately, OLG reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to rescind invalid prize claims and/or conduct a random draw from amongst all eligible prize claimants to award a Prize. The Release Parties’ total liability will be no greater than the approximate retail value of the total value of all Prizes as stated above.
9. 11.9 Any individual who attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion or to alter or damage the Promotion website may be subject to civil and/or criminal penalties and fines. The Promotion Parties reserve the right to seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. 11.10 The Released Parties will not be liable for the failure of any Entry or other information to be received, captured or recorded for any reason. In no event will the Released Parties be liable to award more than the Prize stated and the Released Parties do not accept responsibility, in whole or in part, for loss, damage or injury, howsoever caused in connection with any Prize, the Voucher or the conduct of the Promotion.
11. 11.11 The Released Parties assume no responsibility for: Entries, or other information lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected; or for the failure, interruption or delay of any mail or email or other communication to be received, for any reason; any computer viruses, time bombs, logic bombs and any other implanted devices of a like or similar nature that may arise or occur in connection with the Promotion; problems with the function of any website or website feature howsoever caused; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers”; or any combination thereof, as a result of participation in this Promotion.
