“I was at home when I checked my ticket on the OLG App,” Nirmalananthan said while at the OLG Prize Centre. “I was shocked to see the amount on the screen. I normally see a $2 win, or a free play.”
“It was so unbelievable,” Nirmalananthan continued. “I turned to my son and asked him what amount he sees on the screen. He confirmed. We were so happy we started celebrating.”
“I am the happiest person today,” he said with a smile. “It’s a special moment. I would hope for a win and I’m very thankful that it came my way.”
“I plan to put some of my winnings toward my mortgage and put some aside to prepare for the future,” Nirmalananthan declared.
